“Every leaf speaks bliss to me, Fluttering from the autumn tree…”
~ Emily Bronte
Fall to some is considered the most magical season of the year and thousands of visitors flock to rent cabins and cottages on Lake Cumberland to experience the glory of the Kentucky fall foliage in its grandeur. In southern Kentucky, the leaves unfurl their colors around the end of October through the beginning of November. Of course the timing of Kentucky fall foliage depends on the weather. The conditions that make for spectacular autumn color displays are a moist growing season followed by a dry autumn having warm, sunny days and cool.
