Lake Cumberland State Resort Park – Kentucky’s #1 State Park – Open Year Round! This Lake Cumberland campground offers guests 129 sites to choose from, utility hookup, 3 central service buildings with showers and restrooms, laundry facilities, a Country Store and 3 waterfront restaurants nearby. In addition, Kentucky’s largest marina is located inside the Lake Cumberland State Resort Park with boat rentals of kayaks, paddle boards, pontoons, jet skis, ski boats, fishing boats and more! Kendall Recreation Area on the Cumberland River – Army Corps of Engineers managed. This is a very popular Kentucky campground located in Jamestown, just below Wolf Creek Dam on the Cumberland River which forms Lake Cumberland. The campground overlooks the river, offering sweeping scenic views. Dense stands of mature hardwoods forest the site, offering scenic views, pleasant shade and wildlife habitat. Because of the temperate climate and relatively long recreation season, the lake provides varied outdoor recreational opportunities for millions of visitors each year.
Kendall Campground offers visitors convenient access to a cold water trout stream, making it a popular Kentucky fishing destination. The stream is well-stocked with rainbow, brook and brown trout. Hiking and biking trails meander throughout this beautiful Kentucky campground as well. The campground is a multi-use recreation area, consisting of 70 acres and 115 campsites that can be reserved in advance, all of which have water and electric hookups. Each campsite has a picnic table, fire ring and lantern post. A group day-use picnic shelter with water and electric hookups is available as well. Indian Hills KOA – Full Hook up! It’s water, water everywhere when you stay at this beautiful Lake Cumberland campground, in one of Kentucky’s most scenic recreational areas.
Camp here, and it’s just a mile to the lake shore, boat ramp, Lake Cumberland boat rentals and restaurants. Lake Cumberland Fishing is great, and so is cruising along the lake’s meandering 1,250 mile shoreline. Also be sure to visit the area’s other key water attraction: Cumberland Falls has been dubbed the “Niagara of the South” and is one of the nation’s largest waterfalls. There’s plenty more to do in the area – including Mammoth Cave National Park – and plenty to do right at KOA. Play a set of tennis or team up for some volleyball, then cool off in the outdoor swimming pool. The recreation hall has cable TV and plenty of video games. Foggy Bottom Campground – Open Year Round! Get away from it all at this lovely, family owned campground located along the Cumberland River. Camping at Lake Cumberland has never been better! Foggy Bottom Campground offers RV & tent campers water, electric, picnic table, fire ring, laundry and bath house. Located just down the road from the Wolf Creek National Fish Hatchery, boat ramps, and Wolf Creek Dam. Indian Hills Resort & Alligator II Marina – Rustic Lakeside Campsites! Find yourself at the water’s edge on one of our 16 Lake Cumberland campsites, located in the Wolf Creek Recreational Area, are complete with water spigots, shower house, picnic area, playground, and beach swimming. Enjoy Lake Cumberland up close with a great view by reserving one of these tree-covered Lake Cumberland camping sites today. One tent per site. Reserve early, there are only 16 sites! Lake Cumberland Shoreline or Island Camping – Primitive Camping on the banks of the beautiful Lake Cumberland! With 63,000 surface acres and 1,250 miles of shoreline, there are plenty of places for primitive camping on Lake Cumberland. The land surrounding the lake is owned by the Army Corps of Engineers and is open public land for Lake Cumberland camping and picnicking. In addition to the shoreline, Lake Cumberland is home to many islands that are perfect for primitive campsites!
