Blue Moon Fishing Charters
Join Captains Scott and Laura Snuverink for a professionally guided fishing trip on Lake Cumberland! With state-of-the-art equipment and years of experience, Scott and Laura will provide you with a fun, relaxing day on the water. For larger groups, additional boats are available. We are also able to assist you with lodging in the area.
Before we take you out, you will need a valid Kentucky Fishing License. You can purchase these licenses locally the day before, or you may purchase an instant license online. Pack a cooler with lunch and your favorite refreshment; bring your sunglasses and clothing appropriate for the weather. We will provide you with all the bait and tackle you need.
We commonly catch Walleye, Small and Large-Mouth Bass, and Kentucky Bass, and of course, Striped Bass. Striped Bass are one of the fiercest fighters in freshwater fishing. The largest Striped Bass caught on Lake Cumberland weighed in at 59 pounds! The average Striper weighs 5-20 pounds; several fish per year are caught in the 30–40-pound range.
Out on the Lake we will troll for fish; this allows you to see the wildlife and take in the beautiful scenery that surrounds Lake Cumberland. Like taking a “Sunday drive” on the water, you will see deer, wild turkeys, and eagles. Don’t forget the kids; we offer a day of fun and safe family entertainment. When we’re done, the crew of the Blue Moon II are happy to clean and wrap your catch for you.
