Eagles Nest RV Park is perfect if you are looking for full hook-up and want to be situtated right in the middle of Russell Springs – close to shopping, restaurants & boat ramps.  Eagles Nest RV has 10 full hook-up campsites with 50 & 30 amp at every site and free WIFI too!  Eagles Nest is located just two miles south of the Cumberland Parkway on Highway 127.  Call 270-566-2249 for more information and reservations.

Lake Cumberland Kentucky RV Campgrounds

FOGGY BOTTOM CABINS & CAMPGROUND is located in Jamestown by Wolf Creek Dam on the Cumberland River. Foggy Bottom is just a minute away from boat ramps to either the Cumberland River or beautiful Lake Cumberland, as well as just down the road from Wolf Creek National Fish Hatchery, hiking trails and the very popular Captian Jake’s on the River.  Call 270-343-2510 for more information or reservations.

Campgrounds on the Cumberland River - Foggy Bottom Campground

RUSSELL SPRINGS KOA JOURNEY CAMPGROUND is located just minutes from Lake Cumberland Marina (formerly Alligator II Marina) and has 133 campsites with full hookup, pull through sites, max 50 amp, outdoor swimming pool (open May 18 – September 10), dog park, miniature golf, and lovely cabins too! There’s lots of things to do when you stay at a KOA campground including tennis, volleyball, basketball, a recreational hall with cable tv and plenty of video games.  The wonderful Lake Cumberland RV park is open seasonally March – October 31.  Call 270-866-5616 for more information.

KENDALL RECREATION AREA is one of the most popular RV park campgrounds in the Lake Cumberland area.  This gorgeous Army Corps campground is situated below Wolf Creek Dam along the beautiful Cumberland River.

Kendall Recreation Area is a multi-use recreation area enveloping 70 acres alongside the Cumberland River on the downstream side of Wolf Creek Dam. Within Kendall there are 115 reservable campsites, all of which have water and electric hookups. The campground is highly forested with well shaded campsites available for your comfort. Each campsite has a picnic table, fire ring and lantern post. A group day-use picnic shelter with water and electric hookups is available as well. Kendall Recreation Area also has two large playgrounds, several picnic sites adjacent to the Cumberland River, a hiking trail, a fish cleaning station, and a refreshment concessionaire known as the “Snack Shack.”

Kendall is the largest recreation area managed by the Army Corps of Engineers at Lake Cumberland. Because of its amenities and location, it is quite the desirable destination for camping recreation. Making reservations in advance is highly recommended.

There are two boat-launching ramps nearby, one with the recreation area below Wolf Creek Dam serving access to the Cumberland River and the other above the Dam serving access to the main lake reservoir. Kendall also offers visitors convenient access to a cold water trout stream, making it a popular fishing destination. The trout stream is well-stocked with rainbow, brook and brown trout by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service’s Wolf Creek National Fish Hatchery which is located on-site directly adjacent to Kendall Recreation Area.

LAKE CUMBERLAND STATE RESORT PARK is one of the most popular of the Kentucky State Parks and has a wonderful campground with 8 full hook up campsites as well as  139 campsites with electric, water, and dump station.  The Lake Cumberland State Resort Park has several campsites that are particularly great for larger RVs. Lake Cumberland surrounds the park on three sides and there are boat ramps and a large commercial marina inside the park that has boat rentals of pontoons, tritoons, fishing boats, jet skis, paddle boards, and houseboat rentals.  There are hiking trails throughout the park as well a basketball, tennis, miniature golf, a full frisbee golf course, two restaurants and activities in the summer months.  Book Your Campsite Here!

PINECREST AT LAKE CUMBERLAND

Pinecrest at Lake Cumberland campground is a family owned campground located close to Lake Cumberland Marina (formerly Alligator II) as well as the Lake Cumberland Recreation Area boat ramp (formerly Alligator I).  Each RV campsite has full hookup and is open year round!  Be sure to make use of the outdoor swimming pool.  In addition to the wonderful RV campsites, Pinecrest at Lake Cumberland also has one and two bedroom rental cabins.  Cabins are clean, but “no frills”.  Call 270-866-5615 for more information.
