#3 Eli Country Cafe\’– Some of the best Kentucky Restaurants are worth the drive. Eli Country Cafe\’ is one of those restaurants. If you want an early Thanksgiving meal served with turkey and all the fixin\’s, make the scenic drive to Eli Country Cafe\’ near Alligator II Marina on Lake Cumberland. Famous for their fried catfish, this little hometown Kentucky restaurant will have you planning detours just to taste a plateful one more time. #6 The Springs Diner– This list wouldn\’t be complete without including this great little local, family owned Diner located right on historic Main Street in Russell Springs, Kentucky. Serving their version of the Kentucky Hot Brown and many other Kentucky favorites, you will be sure to come back every time you plan a visit to the Lake Cumberland area! Serving breakfast and lunch, the pancakes will hit the spot and the meringue on the pie is piled high.
