As the fall colors fade and the air turns crisp, there’s still plenty happening around beautiful Lake Cumberland! November is a time for cozy getaways, community events, and gearing up for the holiday season. Whether you’re planning a weekend stay or looking for something fun close to home, we’ve got plenty of ideas to help you enjoy the month ahead.

Featured Event: “The Grinch Event/Blades, Brew & Food” — December 11–13

Get ready for a weekend full of fun at our Grinch Event and Blades, Brew & Food event hosted at the Tourism Office in Russell Springs!

Ice skating •  Food trucks •  Local Vendors •  Festive vibes

Kick things off Thursday, December 11 at 3 PM with our Grinch event, and join us again Friday & Saturday from 4–8 PM. Bring your family, grab a bite, and make some holiday memories on the ice — just $7 to skate!

If you haven’t been lately, fall and early winter are perfect times to visit the Wolf Creek Dam Overlook. Fewer crowds, crisp air, and stunning views of the water make it one of the most peaceful spots on the lake. Bring a thermos of coffee and enjoy a quiet morning sunrise!
