Gran’s Place & Irvin’s School House Venue

Welcome To Gran’s Place & Irvin’s School House Venue

This Farmhouse is 15.8 miles from Safe Harbor-Jamestown Marina & 13 miles from Lake Cumberland Marina, 18 miles from Lake Cumberland State Park and Marina, and 17 miles from Wolf Creek Dam. It is right off of the Cumberland Parkway, and a short distance to both Columbia and Somerset. Enjoy the perfect place to relax with family and friends after a day of boating on the lake or fishing on the river. It is cozy, inviting, clean, and welcoming. The original bathroom boasts a 1950’s tub with newly added showerhead, and the original beadboard ceiling. Our “new” 2nd bathroom has an amazing soaking tub that is always a hit with renters.  Each and every room in the house has a perfect combination of new furniture and antique pieces. To the right of the deck is a large firepit and 6 chairs. We provide wood for our guests to use. There is a large backyard for kids to run around and play. Also, in the summer you will be surrounded by crop (corn or soy), because it still is a working farm.

Introducing Irvin’s Schoolhouse, located behind our rental, is an original one room schoolhouse where you can host events, weddings, family reunions and more! Please inquire about the schoolhouse though the information provided.
