Welcome To Wolf Creek National Fish Hatchery

Wolf Creek National Fish Hatchery

Come face to face with the region’s underwater friends, explore karst terrain, see the inner workings of an active honey bee hive, and meet Dale, the lifelike animatronic fish biologist—all by stepping into the unique and exciting exhibit hall at the Wolf Creek National Fish Hatchery Visitor/Environmental Education Center.

The hatchery provides over 1,000,000 rainbow, brown, and brook trout each year to the benefit of the American people. Also visit Wolf Creek Dam. Over 1-mile long, the landmark which forms Lake Cumberland from the Cumberland River provides hydro-electrical power and flood control.
